Back to school!

3 kids back in school today, CarliAnn can't wait for next week to start Kindergarten! Although she did get to meet her teacher today when she had her kindergarten testing! She did so well with everything the teacher put in front of her, and she loved it, I loved listening in and hearing the teacher praise her over and over! She was so cute when we were walking out of the school she said "I did good with those things" Yes little girl you did!!

I loved this picture best of the kids, first because they are all smiling, second because it shows their personalities and love for each other, they are growing so fast!

Alison is in 6th grade and wanting to dress up a bit more, she is so excited for school! You would never know she had clothing problems this morning, the pants she wanted to wear somehow still had the security tag attached, she was in my room at 6:30am to let me know and asked if she should just go without pants LOL! I worried this would escalate to a stress meltdown but instead she calmly and happily came back upstairs with a different pair and said they would work fine. Awesome girl!

Tyler is in 5th grade and is always looking good, loves his polo shirts and his hair combed perfectly! Tyler and Alison got the same shoes this year by accident (she didn't wear hers today but the only difference is the green is orange) When we figured it out I offered to exchange one of them but they wanted to keep them, they loved it!!

Trevin is in 2nd grade and of course was making faces at the camera again, he was ready for school really early, I hope this becomes a new trend for him!! He is such a happy kid, when the teacher sent home a get to know you paper he wrote that he is nice and he likes to make people happy, he knows himself well!

I don't get to take Alison and Tyler to school, their Dad does that since they are in a different school, but I did walk Trevin to school and follow him in, this is a picture after he found a few kids in his class he knew! His teacher is in the background, she is awesome, (and in our ward) I'm so excited he will have her for a teacher!!

Now she can play soccer!

CarliAnn is 5!!!

and she let me know that "now that I'm 5 I can play soccer" she is so excited, I had no idea she wanted to play or I would have already put her in at age 4 LOL! But she will definitely be in in the Spring!

This year we just had a quiet family party, but she had the most fun helping to decorate her Princess cake!

Alison had to miss the dinner of Tacos, and the cake and ice cream so she gave her a present early, it was so sweet to watch as Alison gave her a box full of things she has outgrown, then a little baby doll that she bought herself because it was "Pink, her favorite color, Cute like Carli and said 'Sweet' on the shirt just like Carli is" then they lay on the floor together putting soft black fuzzy puzzle together and coloring it for over an hour, good quality sister time!

She also requested her french braids for the day of her Birthday, Chocolate Marshmallow Matey's for her breakfast, Tacos for dinner and even though she wasn't having friends for her birthday she told me she knew it was going to be her best birthday ever!!

One of my favorite things was that in our Family we do 'Heavy Heavy Hangover Thy poor head' and the Birthday person tells them what they wish for them, she thought about each and every thing, and even when everyone was yelling out things to say trying to be helpful while she paused to think, she didn't take anyone else's answers, she thought of her own. Dad and I get new scooters, Tyler a bike, Alison a flower and so on, she was adorable! She got everything she wanted, candy from Trevin, a ball of Tyler she has loved, the Play-doh set she asked for books and Zhu Zhu pet hamster and puppy!

She is such an amazing little girl who is getting to big to fast, starting school in less than a month! I'm so proud to be her mommy, and to have her hugs and smiles everyday!! Love you sweet girl!! Happy Birthday!
