Carli's Christmas Dance

Another videos opp to show the grandparents!!

Carli's first Dance recital and she wasn't scared at all, just excited to "be on a big stage" she did pretty decent for being 4yrs old and in Dance for 3 months! This first video was just before while wwatining in the hall, I was trying to get her whole class in and then noticed her making faces moving her eyebrows and giggling, so cute!



She is the third one fromt he end! Such a cutie!

Trevin's Christmas concert

Ok so with Jarin's parents serving a mission I promised to keep the blog updated, not doing the best at that but I'm getting it caught up about every other month at least, and I promised Videos and all these Christmas concerts are a good time to get cute ones! So here is the first of the Christmas Videos!

Trevin did a great job in his chior concert! This first video he is the second singer at the microphone singing "I hid a frog in sisters bed" then he sits down for a minute and gets back up, he has a white lettering on his shirt, listen for Carli talking too just after his part, very cute!



He really hammed it up at times too and this was a good example of that, I know the quality isn't the best but he has a huge pouty lip and bopping his head around, silly boy! He is in the middle front with his head down alot at first. The white thing on their backs is a Santa beard for a different song.

Halloween 2010

What a fun Halloween! We dressed up as a box of crayons, just one crayon short of an 8ct box LOL! My friend does Vinyl and helped put on the crayon picture and on our leg the name of the color.

We went to Jarin's work to tirck or treat nad show the kids costumes, one of his coworkers let the kids on his haunted bus, Nathan wasn't to sure about it. he other kids enjoyed the scary music and toy spiders.

After we went to my brothers work to trick or treat all the employees, it was like hitting over 100 houses!! And this was still 2 days before Halloween! Nathan and his cute cousin were getting the hang of taking one piece of candy for every bucket they saw and they were adorable doing it!

Then we heade to Jarin's Grandma's houses, they enjoy seeing the kids in costume too and spoil the kids with good treats! Last on Halloween the church had a dinner and trunk or treat and we had fun there too, Jarin made us our own sign for the car but the rain kept us all inside so we hung it on the wall. Everyone loved our costumes, not sure what we will do next year but this year we got a great idea for Jarin's!

Carving pumpkins every year is a fun tradition! The kids get so into it!

New Floors

We had a new kitchen floor installed, which bled into the hallways and family room too :o) It was a crazy week but we are loving the results!! So first here are some before pictures of the front hallway, that was hard to tear out since it was decent flooring just wrong color and cheaper stuff, but we didn't want two different colors of wood laminate, we wanted it to flow together.

the Kitchen and the hall and family room carpet, we already loaded the table, chairs, fridge and stove in there so not the best view of the carpet. This all started when we had our carpets cleaned by Zero rez and asked them to stretch the hall carpet, they did great at the cleaning but then when they cut off the excess of the hall carpet they slashed multiple cuts into the linoleum right in front of the hall, a major walkway, they admitted to it being their fault but then wouldn't help us get the repair done. So we did it with the help of our insurance and they are going after them in court for us. We had to pay for any upgrades though.

They told us if we tore out the old stuff they we would save $500 so we said sure, next time they can do it! See all the lines with big chunks, there were thousands of little staples!!!! We had to remove the subfloor in the kitchen so that the floor level would match up with the hallways, Horrible pain to get those staples out!!!

They were done for the day and we had to eat dinner this way, grilled cheese on the Foreman grill since I didn't have a stove! The second day they would do the hallways.

While the men worked up stairs I kept 3 little kids downstairs, we played with toys, set up a TV with the ROKU box so we could watch Netflix, I set up the play pen for my nephew to get a nap, since I knew he would sleep there, but Nathan would prefer his own bed. The first day went fine, but the second day he was a crying mess till he finally crashed on the floor, I went to grab the camera after Carli covered with a pink dress up dress, but someone woke him up just before I got there. Poor little dude was tired and wanted his bed!

The floor was finished on Monday and Tuesday, then we all got sick the rest of the week starting with Nathan and Carli on Wednesday, my nephew had it Tuesday, let me tell you that having Nathan get sick in the hall while I tried to rush to the bathroom was so nice to have the new floor and not carpet to cleanup, Just sayin!

And finally the finished product! The carpet is much darker, Trevin told me it was "Grandma Carpet" then told me it matched my hair, Brown with blonde highlights LOL!

No more line where the linoleum and the front hallway wood met up! It flows so nicely now!

Alison has a crush!

Yikes! It has finally happened, Ali likes a boy! Oh goodness I'm not ready for this! Just last week I took her to the School maturation night (Say No to Gardasil!) an she was horribly mortified by the whole thing, she would rather be a boy! She even said she never wants to see her future hubby in his birthday suit, ever! Then just one week later she has a crush! Luckily she has a good head on her shoulders, lets just hope th boy never finds out!

Sunday night dinner and we were all enjoying the food, I was just about to cut off some Corn from the cob for my 16 month old when he started pointing and squealing for the whole cob. I handed it too him thinking he wouldn't get the concept and he went to town on it, he loved it! He was giggling and smiling the whole time. We haven't had it too often because someone always has a loose tooth or something, I will buy it again just for Nathan's reaction!
