For Halloween the kids knew just what they wanted to be, except Ty, but when we did their hair up for crazy hair day at school we just knew he needed to be Lewis from Meet the Robinson's, we found out the Harry potter glasses worked perfectly, found red shorts and the hardest part was finding a blue sweater vest, this one was a bit dark but it workedAli, picked a Bat a couple months early it was easy and she and her dad designed the ears. Trevin loved the gorilla costume I had in the basement just waiting for someone to wear it for Halloween. When you asked him what he was going to be for Halloween he would answer by pounding his tummy with both fists, we tried to tell him to pound his chest but he likes the tummy!! Silly kid! Unfortunately he kept running from or hiding from the camera so I don't have to many pics of him in it.
CarliAnn got to be a cute candy corn, Jarin found one for sale on ebay and we thought it looked simple, it only cost $3.00 for the material and looked so cute!! I was a scarecrow, I thought our friends yard looked right for a picture and asked her to take it, the raffia was a bit itchy but I left it off of the wrists and it was bearable!!
Finally, the best part was Jarin's surprise, he had been putting off cutting his long curly hair, and one day decided to keep growing it so that he could do something pretty radical for Halloween! He shaved off the sides and made a fohawk, colored it with hairspray and tada, add a leather jacket and fake piercings and you have a Punk who looks mean and scary but really he is sweet and such a softy!! Everyone was so surprised, we got so many comments at the ward party, and our families were very shocked, no worries though we cleaned him up that night back to his conservative EQ pres look in a mater of minutes!
