So I have been trying to get back and actually add a little about the birth.... Hmmm something else has my time lately! That's a good thing though!
We got to the hospital and they took stats and checked me and I was at a 3 (Tuesday I was a 2) an hour later he came back to break my water and I was at a 4! So now they believed that I was in labor since Sunday just very slow progressing. From Breaking water to baby was about 3.5 hours! The contractions were bearable till the very end, they got pretty strong but I was still ok, till they came in and said "we're gonna deliver you" Then things got hard! I am glad for the experience of going natural, not sure recovery is all that much better than with an Epidural, I have had pretty easy recoveries with my others though. My BP is already back to normal which is wonderful.
Nathan is still a bit sleepy, he has jaundice and we have been taking him in each day to check his levels, he is a good eater though so we aren't worried. It is sweet to watch him sleep! He also makes cute grunting noises that sound like a monkey, funny since I have been drawn to monkey everything this whole pregnancy.

The kids just adore him, Trevin asks me "where's your baby" and CarliAnn talks about her "baby brudder" Tyler is always wanting to talk to him give him a kiss, and even Alison who screamed and cried when she found out it was another brother is so in love with this little guy, they all love to hold him. He adds so much to our family already! I am also very lucky to have Jarin home for a couple weeks to help with all of them, he is such a wonderful Father and Husband! I love my Family! I am so very blessed!

Just several hours old.
The kids bombarding, I mean welcoming Nathan Home.

Big sister took so many pictures of him when he got home! I liked this one.
Alison made her first cake ever all by herself (accidentally she was supposed to just mix up brownies, we didn't realize till we pulled it out of the oven it was actually a cake LOL) she frosted it with a baby on it and said it was Nathan first "Birth" day cake! She was so proud and he cake mixed by hand was really good!

I love how Alison made a cake for him, that is toooooo cute! She sure does love her baby brother although she threw a fit before huh? Your family is so adorable, all your kids are cute!
What sweet pictures. I am so happy that the kids are adjusting to the new addition well.
So I am curious about the natural childbirth, was this planned? If it was planned how did you prepare? I am doing this one natural too, I had some severe damage to my nerves from my last epidural that required two surgeries and 6 months of physical therapy to recover so I am not so willing to do another epidural. I have been looking into natural childbirth methods and classes and I haven't really found one that impresses on me more than the other. I would love to hear your story, when you get time.
Glad the birth went well and the baby is just beautiful. You do have a wonderful family.
Thanks!
Jessica, yes it was planned, we will have to talk, I found some great friends online with lots of knowledge that really helped, it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be! I kept telling Jarin I would have a new defintion of the 1-10 pain scale LOL!
