Tylers Birthday

Tyler is 9!! Who let him get this old? Not me, I want my little boy back, but at least he still has the same personality, loving, fun, sweet and a gentleman. Sure he has his moments (we all do) but overall he is one amazing little boy, oops sorry Young Man! I love this kid!

For his party we had it planned for the Saturday after his Birthday, the 20th, but he got sick on Friday afternoon and we had to postpone it by a week. Poor kid was upset but he accepted it. So finally on the 27th we had the party, Mario Party 9!!

If you have never played Mario Party 8 on the Wii, it is set up like a board game, with periodic games against eachother, or one and one, or one against everyone else. I tried to make the game somewhat similar to the video, but with definite differences. like we didn't have the chance to get multiple stars, instead just one at the end. But I did make the kids hit the Dice with their heads just like the game, no worries, it was the soft fuzzy dice :o) I made coin boxes for the kids to collect their chocolate coins and candies (the candies do something like let them have and extra dice, bowl over the others to the front collecting a coin from each along the way, or Duel another player)
I like this picture of them all having fun! They all kept landing on the same spots, 4 to one piece of paper was a tight fit!
Who can chug a caprisun the fastest?

Poor Rachel kept getting ones with every roll, even when she got 2 dice the first was a one, she was happy to get a 4 to ad to it though!
Who can draw a mushroom with sidewalk chalk the fastest!
The slide was part of the course!
Rachel pulled through at the end to reach the star first!! She was so excited and shocked! (also one of the few pictures of Alison dressed up as the Candy lady! she thought the striped pj pants were perfect for the part)
Group shot at the end!
The Cake, I had fun with this and Tyler loved it!

Grandparents and more cousins came over after the party, Tyler was thanking them for his gifts.
Both Grandma's feeding Nathan cake, too cute! I love both these grandma's!
