We have had a great summer!
Aside from all my sickness, from Asthma (adult onset so this was the first time) causing a 6 week cough, to sinus infections, a root canal, and Gout. But despite it all I still had a great summer with my kids, the longest summer with all my kids since Ali started kindergarten, the disadvantage to year round school.
Trevin was the only one who had to go back early on July 27th, for 3 weeks then off again, Alison and Tyler started a week and a half after he got off so we made sure to have some fun that last week and a half going to the Zoo, swimming, splash park, baking cookies, just enjoying my kids! Jarin was on the Bow Hunt during that week too, so I just relaxed and enjoyed them all! I also took on watching my adorable nephew this summer and since my brother was on the hunt I got to enjoy home for a week and a half straight too. he's an adorable little guy who fits right in with my kids, so fun!

Alison saw how scared the boys were of the sprinklers at the splash park, so over and over she would fill up a cup with that cold water and bring it to them to put their hands and feet in, they loved it and I loved seeing how thoughtful she was to them. Eventually she got them each to let her carry them in and touch the sprinkers without crying, she is so good with litle kids!
