I can't believe my little girl is already 9 years old! She is growing up so fast! She is such a special girl, loves to help others, play with little kids, especially babies and she is still an artist. She actually takes an art class from the teenage kids of her old preschool teacher, they were taught by a woman who studied art at BYU and she is learning alot. She also loves to read and is on her 4th Harry Potter book! She loves school, and even has a little boy who wants to marry her, it was a sweet friendship at first and has now gone a bit to far, poor kid, when Alison figured out he liked her she called him on it and he asked her to marry him and move in with him and his parents, she told him "maybe when you're older and if you comb your hair!" too cute! I asked her if he doesn't comb his hair now and she said he does but she means like Woody from Toy Story with the little lock of curl right up front on the forehead! Like Super Man I guess! She can be so funny!

For her party she wanted a Pirate party, never thought my girly Ali would want that but it sounded fun so we went for it. She wanted a treasure chest cake but after looking on the Internet at my favorite sites for cakes we thought the ship cakes looked fun and easy so we got a ship!

Our Friend Krista made the best treasure hunt, I mentioned to her we wanted to do that for one of the games and she volunteered to make it for us in the middle of her busy life! Thanks Kris!! It was a huge hit and having a dozen kids running our our house after clues was fun to watch. At the end they had to put together the puzzle pieces (2 came with each clue) to figure out where their treasure was hidden! They found their "treasure" in the hall closet with the games, it was a treasure box filled with their treat bags of rings, necklaces, Hershey Treasures, a telescope etc. then they got their eyepatches to become honorary pirates. They had alot of fun!
