Field Trips! And a Play!

Alison and Tyler both had field trips this week to the Museum of Natural History. I go to go along with Tyler's on Thursday while our friend Krista watched Trevin and Carli. Jarin went along with Alison on Friday. It was fun for each of us to go with the kids and their classes and share lunch with them. I even bought special food like root beer! Yumm! I had it easy, plenty of parents went with Tyler's class, so each parent had 4 kids and y group there were two moms. Poor Jarin had to deal with 7 second graders by himself! He did fine. The kids had fun telling each other what they saw and did and seeing if the other one did it too. Here are a few pictures....

Then the same night as Alison's field trip her Achievement days group went to a play and I got to tag along, good thing cause I was the only one with a camera! The play was called the Dragon Queen and was performed very well, especially by the smallest actress. She was only 6 but looked about 4-5 and she knew all her lines perfectly and brought in plenty of laughter! I got a picture at intermission of the girls with the backdrop of the stage, and a new friend who wanted to be in our picture!

Isn't the little princess adorable, her role was to save her brothers and sisters from an awful curse. She was the special "7th" child. Alison and her friends just had to meet her, we caught up with her as she tried to sneak through a little door and the back of the stage. That little girl has talent and spunk, I think we could expect to see her in the movies or TV as she gets older! What a cutie! All the other did great also, the knight was very funny! And they had dancers that made up a river, what an interesting scene, they all really worked hard and it paid off!
