Strep!!!!!!!

Over the weekend CarliAnn got sick, Saturday night she got a fever of 103. Poor baby! She was still fevered on Sunday and very clingy. Then Sunday night Alison got sick, fever and aches we knew it yet again Strep! Poor girl has had strep 5 times in the last 6 months. Finally the Dr has referred us to the ENT to get her tonsils and adenoids out! I wish she could have had it done years ago, Tyler had his out when he was only 3, and only because they wouldn't do it when he was 2. At least he doesn't remember much but I do, I remember when he woke up from the surgery the first thing he said, "take them out, it hurts" I told him it was already done! Poor guy! He was miserable for the next week and a half and holding him down to get his pain meds in him was awful and hard I can't imagine Alison. She is already afraid of anything medical, especially Dr.'s and shots! When someone else gets a shot, she runs and hides under a chair, literally! She is not happy about it at all, but we chose a Dr that works up at Primary Children's because they are so good with the kids, they even have a slushy machine for right after the surgery and you pick your flavor. And of course the loopy medicine, that is a must for her!

I just hope the ENT agrees with us to do the surgery, we will know on the in a couple weeks. Surgery probably won't be till July so she can be off track.
