Blackham Bunch

Today is my Honey's birthday! He is yet again 26!! With 7 years experience!! Or so he says.

It really was an ordinary quiet Sunday, those are nice to have. He went to his meetings this morning then in the afternoon we went to Church, the teacher for the smaller Sunday School class we attend wasn't there, his wife had a baby, so the two other couples and us decided to let Jarin do an impromptu lesson from the Marriage and Family handbook since he already had one. What joys come from being the Elders Quorum President! So he read off the topics in the handbook to let us choose what to talk about, since the neither of the other couples had children we stayed away from those and decided on a lesson called responding to challenges in marriage. Since he was the teacher he of course related stories of our own marriage. I am grateful the class wasn't any bigger!

I did miss part when CarliAnn woke up (she fell asleep in Sacrament meeting) and I took her into nursery, she likes it but I have to wait a few minutes for her to get reacquainted so I can sneak out, if she gets upset when she notices I am gone they give her a couple marshmallows and she is good!

When I got back to class Jarin was talking about us, when he finished he asked me if he had gotten everything right, I only heard half but I trust him so I agreed. One thing that was talked about was how when you first get married you worry if this was the right decision, or if things you do would drive your new spouse away, it is after years of being together that you find true love or Unconditional Love. How wonderful is it to have that kind of love! I know it is what my Father in Heaven feels for us all and what I feel naturally for each of my children even before they are born, to me those are natural but to find that Love in another in this life is incredible and wonderful and I am grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful Husband and Father!

Yesterday he watched the kids, fed them, bathed them and got them ready for bed all while I shopped and caught a movie with my mom! Horton Hears a Who is a cute show even if I did spill the popcorn twice! And two weeks ago I had a few friends over to scrap while he went to an overnight LAN party, he made us a 7 layer dip, bought other treats and announced he had taken care of our party treats, and he even brought me a Carmello bar just because. This is significant because before we met and I dreamt of the man I would marry one simple thing I imagined was that he would bring me my favorite candybar just because, just because he was thinking of me. Nothing major, just a simple act to show he cared. Jarin haas occasionally done this throughout the many years we have been married. But I love it!

I am married to a wonderful Husband and father, he loves me and our children and works so hard for us all! I can't believe how blessed I am. Happy Birthday to my Man!
