Swim lessons

The kids started swim lessons, and despite the look on there faces they were so excited. They just didn't want crazy camera mom to take a picture. LOL! They will thank me one day!

Trevin didn't want to get in at first, when the teacher tried to tell him to, he replied with "I am in, the bottom of my shorts are wet!" Just the edge! He did finally go in and she even got him to stand in the pool next to the stairs and show him that his head is still above the water. Once though he slipped off the stairs and fell into the water, the teacher was right there and had to rescue him, I did gasp though from my place up high in the bleachers. I wasn't sure what his reaction would be until he finally looked at the teacher and I declared, "I put my head under" as if he had one it on purpose! He kills me sometimes!!

Alison and Tyler are in the same class, although really Ali is in 3B and Tyler 3A. Now if they can just get the side breathing down they will be great! They have been so excited asked for more than a month when we were going to start. Luckily Alison is finally feeling better, she is supposed to wait another week and take it easy but I figured 30 min swim lessons twice this week (not going on Friday since it's the 4th) wouldn't hurt, although her ears did hurt a bit going under water, her ears and a bit of a sore throat are her only symptoms left from her surgery.

Another fun thing is I am watching an adorable little boy for a few weeks, he is such a good baby, doesn't even cry really unless you give him a bath! He fusses a bit when hungry and fusses and wiggles when he needs a diaper change. He loves to smile and has a cute giggle. It is so fun to have him around, but I do love giving him back an getting a decent nights sleep! I just love this little guy! I did a quick scrap page of him too since he is so cute.
