Soaring Eagle

Alison and Tyler both recieved the Soaring Eagle Awards at school last week, it is an award given for doing extra things on a list each grade level has, it really helps the kids reach a little further and try a little harder. Things like giving an oral report and such. I am so proud of them, they have worked so hard in school and have great teachers! Both of them are reading above the class and love Math, and of course PE. Who wouldn't with Mr Gallager, he is alot of fun.

Since today was also the last ay of school I wanted to thank the kids teachers for all their hard work so the kids picked out their teachers favorite treat, Ty's was Lindor chocolates, Ali's teacher likes Cinnamon bears, and bought a dozen glue sticks. No teacher can ever have enough glue sticks. Then I digiscrapped them a 5X7 of pictures from the school year and put them in frames. They loved them. I only wish I had a better class picture from Alison's class.

Now it's onto summer for 6 weeks till they start up again, usually we only get 3 weeks but we switched tracks and so now have a longer summer. Yay!

How cute!!! I wish the parents from my class were as thoughtful as you are!!! For Christmas, one kid gave me a giftbag complete with a bottle of Mike's Hard Lemonade. Sigh...

What a cute little family you have. I saw your scrapbook things. I have been wanting to learn how to do that on the computer. Do you have like a program or something?

I wish I kenw more what the teachers liked so I could really make it personal! This year the teachers were great!

Alyssa, one word of warning, it is very addictive!! Yes I use Photoshop Elements, you can download a free 30 day trial version and the download a few freebie kits, just google digiscrap freebies, and try it out. But don't say I didn't warn you!!!
