Lego's

So for Valentines day we stayed home as a family and relaxed, after the chores were done of course. Those were done by noon and the rest of the day was just fun being together, playing the Wii, or whatever else we felt like, so much nicer than competing with the Valentines Day crowds for a seat at a restaurant that is loud and crowded. I definitely think that should be done more often. The next day on Sunday we had Stake Conference then had our friends Camilla and Adam over with their cute baby boy too.
Adam has a few years til his little guy is ready for playing with Lego's so when he heard a few months ago that Lego's is a common Sunday activity with Jarin and the kids he wanted to play too. We waited til now for the new Year Church time change and then had to wait till craziness of crop was over, the kids for weeks have been asking when the "boy" or "kid" is coming over to play Lego's with them LOL! We kept reminding them he was and adult.

They all had fun and while they played Camilla and I started decorating sugar cookie hearts, Alison joined in and soon the boys did too. Then we shared dinner and ate cookies, the hearts and the Chocolate chip pumpkins ones our friends brought. Definitely need to do that again too. Thanks for the fun!

Here are a few pics of the creativity that came from the day....

Mmmm, those cookies were YUMMY too! Adam had so much fun playing Legos, he's such a kid (but aren't all husbands). Thanks for the lovely evening again!

What a wonderful idea for Vday! The cookies turned out cute, I like the variety. I have a Lego star ship that needs to be finished... ;)
