Alison's Attitude!

So first off I have to tell about my new fun thing! You know I love Digital Scrapbooking, haven't been getting much done the last few months though! So when my favorite designer Andrea Gold had a CT call I had to try and apply!! I knew it would help me get scrapping done and with stuff I liked! I made the team!!

Your probably wondering what a CT is, it is a Creative Team, Digital designer will have a call (kind of audition) and pick so many people to be on their team, then we get to download all their new products for free and just are required to make a page or two with it and post the on Digiscrap galleries on the web to advertise for them. I am so excited! It has been a little overwhelming at first, she is a very organized person and I have to learn the way she likes things done, but the other ladies on her team are great scrappers!!
So for the first kit it was a sequel to the previous kit (Mr Attitude), called Ms. Attitude! Little did I know how well this kit would fit Alison this very week, usually I am scrapping pictures at least a year old! So here is my first page, I still need to do one for the Spiritual challenge of "I love her because" gotta show her good side too right!

Alison has had a rough week, this particular night she accidentally kicked Trevin in the mouth and would not apologize! After discussion with Dad things really went downhill and her attitude was and has been awful for some time now. One thing she told her dd was that she does everything in our house! Right, keep your room clean and do one chore on Saturdays with the rest of the family is hardly everything! So Jarin decided she needed a lesson, he took everything away including her bed (she earned that back just in time for bed by finally apologizing to Trevin) and she would find out what it means to "do everything" for a while in order to earn back her possessions. The hard one for her was loosing her Harry Potter book, she was comparing me tot the bad guys and such and we decided the Scriptures would be a better thing for her to read right now. So over the last 2 days she has been doing the dishes, sweeping the floors, folding laundry, picking up the toys after the little kids, wiping the baseboards (what a time for my vacuum to be in the shop!!) and cleaning the bathroom. She has told me while doing the dishes that "this is easy, i don't see why you complain" which I actually like dishes and have never complained but I explained to her none of the jobs are hard, it's the repetitiveness of them, they just never stay done and I continually have to redo them. hopefully she will understand that soon! She is doing a little better, and a perk is that Tyler is watching and has already expressed that he never wants this treatment! LOL! I hope she can learn to not take her privileges for granted and realize all we do for her, I want my sweet helpful Alison back, I know it's just a stage but it is still isn't fun for any of us!

Just for fun here is another page I did with Andrea's Hailee girl kit remade! Also both pages are made with her templates, I am a template Junkie!

What a huge lesson for Ali to learn. We have done something similar for Jayci -just not in such a dramatic way- Sometimes I wonder if this is the direction we need to go to teach her--sigh-- I am not looking forward to the teen years
