Jarin and our friend Erik competed again in the Lehi DOG (Dutch oven Gathering) and they took 4th place! The food was amazing! The thing that killed them was the bread, for cheesy jalapeno bread I thought it was great but the judges didn't. One judge said it had a strange taste. The first place winners were a mom and daughter team, they have been doing it for years. They also made a cheesecake, Key Lime. Erik's is a chocolate cheesecake with cake layers topped with 3 different kinds of chocolate chips and drizzled with chocolate. They did great and had alot of fun, Now to find a new bread recipe Hmmm.....
The kids enjoyed eating the leftover chocolate cheesecake, it was wonderful!
