( sorry some of the Pictures are sideways, blogger is being weird, they aren't sideways on my computer! )
What a week! This week I got to watch my friends little boy! He is so cute!!! Jayven is 6 months older than CarliAnn and at times has acted a little jealous when we have visited him so Jenn and I were a little nervous at how things would go. But Jenn and JP were going on a cruise and needed a sitter. I was also only getting him for a few days then his grandparents would get him, he was so good, so fun, and got along so well with everyone i offered to keep him till they got home (5 days). They weren't going to take me up on it til they had a death in the Family (JP's step-mom's brother) so they called me and asked me to keep him! Yay! Even though he got sick on Wednesday, and in the downstairs office even, he was such a joy to have around. Jenn other friend called to offer to help and take him but it was the morning he was sick and I didn't think we should spread it from our house to others! Poor little guy was so sad with a tummy ache but after a long nap in the afternoon his smile came right back! Oh what a smile, he just brightens the room!
The favorite toy in the house for Jayven was the leap frog letter magnets! He would line them up saying the letters, some he knew, even down onto the floor if needed then step back and point to it with a sweeping arm and say" that's Jayven" Just after I took these pictures CarliAnn reached over to him said his name and gave a big hug! Then paused and gave him another, then she planted a great big kiss on his cheek! I wish I was ready with the camera but I was making dinner! She is missing him now that he is gone!
Of course I still have my neighbors lil baby I watch so when mine were home from school there was 7! I also still got our friend Johnny just like normal on Monday and Thursday, I neer once felt overwhelmed like I thought I would! Jarin was great heloing take the kids to school each day and I even made it out to a couple stores while Trevin was in school, two 2 year old and a 5 month old! People thought Carli and Jayven were twins and I got some fun comments on how cute and well behaved they were.
On Friday morning it was Breakfast with books at school but I just couldn't do it, with 6 kids, aside from having to walk and not make it back home quick enough to get ready my meeting with the Epilepsy Committee that I was partly in charge of, so I asked the kids if I could buy donuts to have at home so they wouldn't miss out and the donuts I get wouldn't just be plain glazed ones, they loved the idea! So much easier!
(this was a cute shot of the little guy I watch, he is so cute and growing so fast!)
I also helped Jarin get ready to go hunting!! He is up on a Mountain with my Dad, 3 brothers, and a few nephews! It is supposed to snow Saturday so I wonder how much hunting they will get done. They each are responsible for their own breakfast and lunch, then taking turns for dinners, Jarin has Sunday and is doing the specialty Dutch oven recipe the he and our friend Erik have been making in competitions this past summer, boneless BBQ ribs! When my brother heard he was doing this he said, "I knew there was a reason we are bringing you along!!" I wonder what he will try for the following weekend. Jarin has never been hunting since I have known him, he used to go with his Dad and Grandpa, and each year my family goes he has been to busy with school and life in general to go. I am glad he is getting the chance to go!
