The Hunt

So Jarin went with my dad and 3 of my brothers hunting, they were going for Elk. While they had a good time they didn't see any Elk or deer, the only person who saw anything was Jarin, he saw a Moose and a Squirrel! Trevin asked him why he didn't shoot the Moose, he told him it was young and he didn't have a tag for it. He did get to make a Ditch oven dinner which I hear everyone loved! BBQ boneless pork ribs and Apple cobbler, I wish I could have gotten some!
I'll post the pics from the hunt tomight when I get them from him.

Tyler won an Ipod Shuffle this week at School, they were giving them away for Red ribbon week, one to each class. The kids got tickets for not bullying and doing nice things for others and then the teacher could either just draw from the tickets or pick the student herself. He is so excited! Alison was a little disappointed but took it well, she asked me as they walked in the door if I was going to make him share, she was sure I would. I don't think she would have shared though if it was hers so I told him he didn't have to but it was up to him. He has already had Jarin load his CD's and the ones we keep in the car onto it. I told him it was like a tiny Walkman, he and Alison had no clue what a "Walkman" was!! I still remember getting my first one! I must be old!

Another funny.... Last Sunday while I was getting ready for Church Alison came into my bathroom, she asked what I was doing and I told her I was putting on makeup. For anyone who knows me, you know I don't were it often only for pictures and going out to a nice place and even only occasionally for church. She then says to me "it won't help" gee thanks, I told her not to tell that to any girl, so trying to explain herself she says, "well isn't the point of it to make you prettier?" Gosh I feel good now!! LOL!
