Kids off track...

Enough said right! I have been so busy with the kids home, watching extra kids and getting a new calling from Activities committee to Emergency Preparedness Committee for Food Storage, wonder how I got that one! LOL! I am excited to learn more! And of course just plain life always keeps me busy.

Last week my brother and his wife came over finally letting my kids meet there tiny cousin! He had been home from the NICU 4 weeks and doing really well, (weighs in at 9lbs 10oz!) since all the kids were healthy they finally got to meet and hold him. Alison was so excited! We ate dinner together, played Uno Attack and of course held baby Tyson. He definitely wasn't used to all the noise my kids can make, Jarin just about had him asleep before they left but the noise kept waking him, and it really wasn't that bad! Hee hee!

We also added a new shed in the backyard, unfortunately the installers killed our Mimosa tree, it was only a foot and half tall after growing since last spring and they didn't see it when they laid out their supplies right on top of it! The kids have been really good to watch out for it and they were pretty sad, so were we, we will have to get another start from Jarin's Aunt in the spring. The shed looks great though, Huge and will clean out the garage nicely! I hope next summer we can put a basket ball hoop on the front of it! Won't that be fun? The front door of it, Jarin decided, should be a roll up garage door so he doesn't have to shovel in front of he doors to get to the snowblower. Smart thinking! Although after all day building, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and listening to the radio in their truck the whole time, the battery in the truck was not only dead but also the whole truck was stuck in the back yard! I tried to help them jump it with Jarin's backup Battery, it comes with it's own clamps, but it just wasn't charged enough itself to do the trick. Jarin came home shortly after trying a while and helped them push it carefully backwards through the fence (a tight fit) and was able to give them a jump with his truck. I wonder if they listen to the radio all day long like that again!
And finally while Deer Hunting Jarin decided to grow out his beard, afterwards he shaved off all but the Mustache and Goatee, he really likes it, Alison really doesn't (it's quite comical how she keeps asking him to get rid of it!) I am on the fence though, it looks fine but is scratchy and pokey to kiss, he has been asking all his friends on Facebook if they like it and if he should keep it, what do you think? Should I just learn to live with it? Hmmmm......

Wow, that's quite a shed! It will be fun to store stuff in it. Sorry for the loss of your tree :) How are those pokey kisses? Jeff does this too. I used to ask him to shave it after awhile, but now if I wait just long enough, usually a week or two, he will shave it on his own and then it's his idea....lol

All I have to say is I refuse to kiss furry faces, human or otherwise!
