Tyson is going home!!!

I am so excited I had to share, my tiny nephew who has been in the NICU for over 3 months, and has endured 4 surgeries (3 on the brain resulting in a shunt, and one on the colon) and is even getting shots today, (that is just mean to send the new parents home with him fussy from getting shots) will soon be in his own home! Last I heard he was up to 7lbs 2 oz, I of course will get an update when I take them in dinner tonight!! He kids are dying to see him, mostly Alison, but they are keeping kids out for a while since he already had to fight 2 infections in the hospital.

This is such a big step and I am so happy for my brother and his wife, they are going to be such good parents!

UPDATE!!

I not only got to take dinner to them and see him, I got to hold him!! In the NICU just Mom and Dad got to hold him and a little of Grandma, but I got my turn to cuddle him to sleep then wake him up for pictures, (he woke up on his own really) He is 7lbs 10 oz and he looks so good. My brother even gave him his first bath at home while I was there, I got lots of pictures of that too!

After his bath they bundled him up and put a hat on him, amazingly it was to small so they changed hats! He is so cute in hats!
