In the morning we got cleaned up and headed down to breakfast at the buffet. Everything looked to good and our eyes were bigger than our tummies, everyone got what they wanted and since we didn't eat til 10:00 we knew we wouldn't want lunch! After we packed up again and said goodbye to Ron and MaryAnn, they were going to the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton, which was our original plan also but Jarin's head couldn't take it. So we spilt ways, they were going to go on home after, and we headed for a store for more diapers (almost made it through the trip) and more kleenex with Aloe and medicine for Jarin. Then over to Great Grandma North's early. This was a great decision since we had more time with Grandma, the kids played puzzles with her, Jarin got some sleep and even I relaxed. The kids even got to play on her new swingset that is nearly identical to ours, she said it is a gift to all her grandkids, and ride on her scooter!! What fun!
When grandma left to do her job as a school crossing gaurd, I took CarliAnn and drove around a bit looking at the new things that have poped up in the old neighborhood, no fair the elementary has built in shades over the playground equipment, we had to deal with metal that was to hot to touch! Then we stopped in at Subway, since good old Port of Subs was gone, and got some sandwhiches for everyone. I made it back after grandma, after eating and of course breaking out the old cookie jar (or can) Cousin Wendy and he children showed up. It was so good to see them all, Tiana is so big and sweet, she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. She was cute when she asked me if she could just call me aunt Bethany even though we were cousins, I told her of Course! I did the same thing with My cousin Danny and his brothers, they were just so much older than me, his kids were my age. The twins were adorable, Wendy says Breelyn looks delicate but really plays hard, I will have to see some scrap pages that prove that!! William had just come from his haircut, what a handsome little guy! I told Wendy I was bring her a CD of digi scrap kits from our charity crop and she decided to make me a cd of all the Disney stuff she has been collecting, wow!! She has tons! Thank you Wendy!.
As we left there we went to visit Jackie and Steve, My mom's best friend and pretty much family! She had tons of ice cream choices for us and showed us her wonderful new house, I got to see it before my mom!! She is going down next month. What a beautiful home, and that kitchen and dining room, I will definately be looking into a washer like hers too! Thank you Jackie for the treats and kicking us out when you did!!
We then gassed up the car and drove home, making it here by 3:30 am! We all went straight to bed and didn't get p til after 9:00am. Jarin however stayed in bed the next two days mostly and I kept coughing as well, that is when we finally made it into the dr and found out about Jarin having Pnuemonia and me bronchitis. Hopefully we didn't spread it too much! Hard to be sick but a great vacation anyway! Glad to be home!
