Honesty

Yesterday I drove to the Credit Union and paid off the van, didn't get that big feeling of relief you hear about but still, it's done. Well today I went out to the dr's then Toys R Us (both the boys birthdays) and then Target for prescriptions. When I came out of Target and was going to put something in the van I noticed a big crack in the bumper and some light blue paint smuged onto it. Some one backed into my van and then left without a word!!! Come on, be honest, It would have only cost them my $250 deductible, $600 without insurance as long as it's only the bumper. That just isn't worth my conscience! I couldn't live with myself. I am grateful that first we weren't in or near the van and second that it wasn't worse!!!

Last time I was rear ended was in the family Van when I was about 18, I thought it was just a small tap and couldn't have done anything, it not only ruined the bumper but als the thing holding the spare tire and the whole rear end.

I have a dent in the hood of my car. It happened at the Magic Mountain parking lot. I assume it was a trailer hitch that did the damage.

I can't say too much though. Once when I was 18, shortly after I got my license I caught someone's bumper with my bumper. I looked and didn't see any damage, so I didn't leave a note. I was terrified that my dad wouldn't let me drive anymore. It makes me wonder if that person noticed something different about their car.

I think I will share this past misdeed on my blog also.
